Although bacteria can grow in a wide range of temperatures, extreme values affect their metabolism. This is a very important parameter that needs to be controlled. The optimum range for performance is between 65 — 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
What is the recommended pH level for Water Energy bacteria?
Due to its great effect in bacteria growth and metabolism, pH values cannot be ignored. For best results, pH values should fall between 6.5 and 8.0, the optimum value for a wide variety of bacteria. Also, a buffering agent is recommended to prevent pH swings.
